Research Paper Ideas: Choosing Strong Biology Topics
When you are in university, you would more than likely be required to write various research papers based on your specialty. If you were a biology student, then naturally your work will be assigned to something related to biology. However, the problem is that you have to come up with your own topic. Usually, your lecturer wouldn’t give you specific topic to write about, which means you have to do your own research and find out the best topic for you. If you were stuck with getting some good ideas, here are some recommendations for you:
- Human biology
- Sports science
- Some practical experience
Well, this is rather broad, but then it would allow you to think of different topics and write on it! That’s the best thing about human biology – you can pretty much work on anything in your research paper. If there’s a specific area that you would like to focus on then you should also do that! However, writing about in general is acceptable too.
Plants are also a great topic to focus on in your research paper. Obviously, without plants, humans would not be able to survive. Due to the process of photosynthesis, plants produce oxygen and takes in plenty of carbon dioxide. Can you imagine a world without plants and trees? Because I can’t!
Biology is a huge topic and you may even focus on sports science where the movements of body are studied (as well as what we should eat!). Sports science is rather complicated and every single movement is analysed. This gives athlete a broader view of what they are doing and what can be done to improve. If you love sports, then it would be a good idea to explore this area further. As I have said, sports science looks at nutrition as well, so you would know the best foods for your body!
Do you remember dissecting something in your biology class? It could be anything, such as pig’s heart or an eye. It was rather disturbing now that you think back but it was surely a lot of fun when you had the chance to do it. Well, your research paper could be applied practically as well so it is certainly worth thinking about.
